Berlin

We arrived in Berlin just before nightfall (darkness came at 4:30 pm), allowing us enough time to see the Brandenburg Gate, Reichstag Building, and wander through the Tiergarten. The following two days were filled with energetic urban life—museums, markets, monuments, and an avant-garde modern dance performance at the Schindler Theater. We walked everywhere, exploring historic boulevards, edgy neighborhoods, and elegant shopping streets. We loved browsing independent shops featuring unique goods, and the chocolate stores were a big highlight. Berlin was fascinating and vibrant, but after navigating crowds and museum schedules, we realized that quiet villages and ancient landscapes suit us best. Traveling with only a carry-on and a small backpack each, we rotated the same clothes for three weeks (with two laundromat stops!) and had an unforgettable adventure.
